The cemetery lies east of central Erling at Münchener Feld, 82346 Andechs. The full cemetery name together with “Münchener Feld” is the clearest navigation entry. The map shows the location of the entire grounds.

When were the chapel and cemetery established?

The neo-Romanesque Friedenskapelle was built in 1870 in connection with the war against France. The cemetery has existed since 1887. Monks of Andechs Abbey are among those buried in the upper area, while the cemetery also serves the people of Erling.
